Tieger plumbing
From what I remember NJ has a state license and I honestly do not know of anyone who failed it. You should just check out the plumbing code possibly find out what the practical test involves and get the plumbing and AC credentials for a better back ground this way not only can you service HVAC (boilers etc) but you can legally install all the piping to the appliances gas/ water /back flow preventions and flue.
The masters licenses are just a great selling point
